Brief
The theme was "From Cherry to Cup", to pay homage to the origins of the countless connections woven through each and every cup of specialty coffee. Each cup too has passed through the many hands of our harvesters, roasters, packers, baristas and finally to us.
About Project
I designed an illustration graphic inspired by the ornate shophouse windows of the Joo Chiat outlet, each window featuring a part of the coffee-making process: from the coffee cherry to the barista and finally the drinker. The pigeon is not part of the coffee process, but definitely a familiar local sight.

This design has been selected by CMCR to be printed on their takeaway cups this September 2023. The photos below are just mock ups of how I envisioned them to look, and are in no way representative of how they will look on the actual cup to be used by CMCR.
