Brief
The couple behind Saikyo Pasta reached out to my sister and I to create the brand logo, illustration and photo collaterals for the home-based pasta business. To reflect the warm, homely aspect of Saikyo Pasta, we adopted a more handdrawn rendering style.
About Project
The name Saikyo comes from the Japanese word for “Strongest!”. The brand aims to create great quality pasta that gives a warm comforting feeling with every bite. The dishes may look rustic and homely, but they are flavourful, through the use of various ingredients and sauces to accentuate the taste profiles. Thus, we try to capture these elements of the brand in our soft, handdrawn illustration, quirky logo style and photos that are reminiscent of a Japanese family kitchen.
