Inspired by traditional Chinese landscape paintings, Chinese motifs and animals compose these auspicious scenes that carry blessings of prosperity.

花开富贵 (Bloom with Prosperity): Swallows swoop across a field framed by plum blossoms, symbolizing flourishing wealth.

财源滚滚 (Wealth Comes Surging In): Koi fishes swim alongside a flowing river, echoing the endless stream of fortune rushing in.
I decided to lean in on my illustration expertise for this year's project, and handdrew the landscapes in a oriental line art style, simply layered with motifs and completed with gold stamping for a touch of sophistication.
Chinese New Year 2026 Theme: Auspicious Celebrations
The spirit of reunion and celebration is captured in this refined, modern aesthetic. Terracotta and tangerine gradient sets the tone – red symbolizing prosperity and joy, balanced with orange hues for sophistication and warmth.
The styling embraces minimalistic accents and frothy arrangements of dancing lady orchid and red orchid, to enhance the auspicious atmosphere. Elegant details are subtly introduced through cutlery and tableware to enhance the sense of occasion without overwhelming the scene.
