Inspired by the jazz references in his novels, Peter Cat is a homage to the beautiful, elliptical writings of Haruki Murakami.
Peter Cat challenges the form of book typefaces by being eccentric, with its wide counters and quirky flourishes and off-centred 'e's. It is weird in normal settings and reliable in kooky ones. That's just how it is.
